Established in 1982, Brantham Amateur Theatrical Society (BATS) is an award-winning British village group made up of approximately 100 members of all ages. We perform all of our productions, as well as hosting an annual play festival, at Brantham Village Hall in the county of Suffolk. We also operate two workshops, Junior and High School BATS, for the younger members in our group.

BATS is affiliated to and the North Essex Theatre Guild.

Thanks for visiting. Please leave an entry in our Guestbook if you like the site!

Junior BATS update

Hi everybody!

Someone must read my articles, because we now have a very full membership.  Good mix of girls and boys, which is great.  We are working on our theatre skills at the moment and will be presenting the second part of Treasure Island on 10th July.  This is a private viewing for friends and family and of course fellow-members. A big thanks to the parents that help on the rota.  I couldn't do it without you.  Anyone who would like to help permanently please let me know, we'd be delighted.  I'd also like to thank Emma Lambert-Finney who is a most supportive costumier!

Teen BATS will sadly be looking for a new leader, as Phil Greenwood will be moving on shortly.  Again, contact me or Andy and I will give you the details.  All leaders are fully security cleared.

Next stop - the Play Festival on 31st October!

Keep on acting

Angie
